It might be a shocking fact (or not) but more than 60% of women wear the wrong bra. And more than 30% of them don’t even know that they are wearing the wrong bra. Many women many times end up giving up their desired dresses or tops because it doesn’t look good on them. The main reason can be probably not because it doesn’t look good on them. It can also be because they are not wearing the right inner wear underneath. According to many fashion experts, the key to pulling off a rocking outfit is not just the outfit itself but the tiny details you put along with that. And what you wear underneath your clothes is one of those tiny details that should not be avoided. It will give you a perfect look that will make you more comfortable in it and also gives you confidence.

Here are a few of the types of bras for women that I think every girl should own, along with when and how to wear them.

1. T-shirt bra

Let’s start with the very first and a very compulsory bra that every woman must own. Especially if they prefer to wear fitted tops or seamless dresses and want a smooth look. T-shirt bras will give you that smooth line underneath your clothes, as they’re either seam-free or they have barely-there seams.

2. Push-up bra

A push-up bra will lift your breast and enhance your cleavage. This bra will give your breast (especially if you have a smaller chest) to appear fuller because of the small cushions in the cup. And it doesn’t apply only to a small chest. Push-up bras can also come in handy for women with larger breasts. To give them an asymmetric and closer look.

3. Strapless bra

Like the name says itself, a strapless bra is a bra without any straps. Many of us are often afraid of buying off shoulder dresses . Mostly because of what to wear underneath. Strapless bra answers that question. For any type of dress, tops with no straps or if they are of net fabric, strapless bras are the best option to go with.

4. Halter bra

Many girls like wearing strapless dresses but with support underneath or with something flashy. A halter bra can be a perfect choice for those items. Halter bras should be worn mostly to give a casual look, and it will look nice with wide-necked tops, either off-the-shoulder or V-necked or under certain sheer tops. It can also be a good option if you don’t like bra straps that keep sliding off your shoulders.

5. Backless bra/stick-on bra

Regular bras can be super uncomfortable when you want to wear any kind of backless top or dress. However, backless bras can be the best option for those kinds of dresses or tops. Backless bras or stick on the bra are just sticky pads that can be stick over your chest area. It will give you support without showing any fabric and will let you wear those sexy, something out of the box dresses easily.

6. Sports bra

The sports bra is a must-have for women who like to workout. Sport bra are designed in such way that it restrict your breast movement and gives the best support during physical exercise. It’s sturdier than typical bras, and they minimize breast movement and alleviate discomfort. Many women also wear sports bras to reduce pain and physical discomfort caused by breast movement during exercise. They are designed to be worn as outerwear during exercises such as jogging or skipping. There are also sports bras with extra padding for exercises that involve some kind of trauma to the breasts.

7. Padded bra

A padded bra is generally for women with a smaller breasts. It gives the breast volume and curves that I think most of us women want. It doesn’t have underwire and is very soft for the skin and is one of the most comfortable bras a woman can have, specifically if you want to wear them daily.

8. Underwired bra

An underwired bra is designed to provide support and strength to the breast. They are either made of thin wire, plastic, or metal. They give your breasts a perfect round-off shape and hide any kind of bulges. There are often very mixed reviews of underwired bras everywhere. According to some, they are not good for the skin or that they are uncomfortable, and some love them because it makes their breast look perfect. But I think it mainly depends on what kind of brand you are wearing and how they make those underwire bras to make your skin feel comfortable.

9. Front open bra

The front open bra as normal but with the clasp open at the front between the breast instead of on the back. There is no reason to avoid them. In fact, in my opinion, they are more useful than your regular bras. They are easy to wear and you don’t have to do all kinds of hassle to clasp the hook of the bra at the back. And for the girls with curvy body types or women in their late forties or above, this bra option is best and convenient in many ways.

10. Convertible bra

A convertible bra is like having multiple types of bra in one bra. They are designed to work as regular bras, Halter bras, racerback bras, or even strapless bras, all by adjusting the straps or just removing the straps completely. Convertible bras are the solution for a wide range of wardrobe versatility.

11. Full coverage bra

Full coverage bras are a classic of the bra family and serve a few important functions. And while some people may consider them to be dowdy or boring, they can help you look confident and feel your best which always looks fantastic. It’s not always necessary to show cleavage, and some tops look better with a full coverage bra. You may also enjoy the security you feel from wearing a bra that encapsulates the whole breast, keeping it in place, and supported.

12. Lace bra

If you like a comfortable bra but you also want to look sexy, then a lace bra is the best option for you. They are known to be incredibly soft on the skin, and they look beautiful if you are wearing any seer or fishnet kind of dress or top. This is one of those bras which is incredibly popular among women nowadays because of its looks and how comfortable it feels over your body.

Bra online shopping is the best choice if you don’t like roaming around to look for your perfect pair of innerwear.
